Companion Hospice is committed to protecting the privacy of our patients and families, but are pleased to share some of the comments we have received through letters and cards from those we have served in our community.

"You all did wonderful in every way."

"The entire staff of Companion Hospice always treated my mom with dignity, respect and kindness. They truly did make a difference and improved her quality of life. She looked forward to their visits and enjoyed them immensely. They befriended her immediately and she appreciated that. She would give them an A+."

"They were wonderful. Her Aide always cleaned her up so nicely and used all the lotions we bought. I felt everyone did much more than expected. I was very pleased. You have a wonderful staff."

"My mother's care improved once Hospice was involved. Everything I thought she needed was provided. They have my respect and admiration for the work they do."

"With the help of Hospice, I was able to let my husband die with dignity in the comfort of our home."

"Companion Hospice gave my mom excellent care. The service was so very appreciated by the family. A nurse always responded to my calls of concern. I will always be grateful for everyone's help. I have and will continue to recommend Companion to friends and others who ask about your care. Thank you so much."

"You will always be in my heart. There are not words to express my gratitude for the kindness, care and compassion you have shown my mother and myself throughout the past, especially the past several weeks. Thank you all and may God bless you. You are all truly angels on this earth."

"Hospice was truly a godsend to me. I live in another state, came every 2 weeks to visit mom in the nursing home. The Hospice nurse called me often to report on mom. Someone often visited mom, too (nurses, chaplains, social workers). They did a wonderful job!"

"They were wonderful. I had not known anything about hospice before. I would recommend them to anyone!"

"I cannot thank your staff enough for the excellent care that they gave to my husband. They all were very caring, thoughtful and professional. They are all "angels" – chosen by the Lord."

"Everyone was very caring and made my sister and I feel that my mother was their only patient. Thank you!"

"We were very grateful to have your team with us during this time. They stayed and did the things we were unwilling to do. To have your team with her gave her comfort and helped us please her. Thank you for helping us through this sad and difficult time."

"If there is ever a need for hospice in our family again, we will use Companion Hospice."

"The morning he died, my daughter and I had been there during the night and we left to go shower. When we walked back into his room, we could tell he was leaving us – we called for the nurse. I don't know where they came from, but immediately the hospice chaplain, nurse and music therapist came. The day before I had prayed at his bedside and asked God to let me see him smile when he saw the other side. The music therapist began to play Amazing Grace and sing softly. He opened his eyes and smiled. It was an awesome moment for me – even under the circumstances. We are thankful he went easily. We thank you for your services and being there for us."
